COMMON INQUIRIES

Dr. Teresa sees companion animals consisting of dogs and cats of all sizes.  Highly fearful pets that require heavy sedation should be seen by a traditional brick and mortar veterinary hospital to ensure safe sedation protocols . Dr. Teresa will see ferrets too! She does not have experience with other pocket pet exotics, reptiles, birds or fish.

Pets that are critically injured or sick should be seen or triaged by an urgent or emergency veterinary clinic. See our resources page for two local ERs. 

Direct payment plans are not provided by Happy Paws at Home Veterinary Care. Payment for services are due in full at the end of the appointment. This ensures we continue to provide veterinary care to pets in our community.  We accept Scratchpay for payment plans. See our resources page for more information. 

Pet insurance is provided by private insurance companies. At this time plans are offered by third party servicers.  The client pays the hospital in full and then submits an insurance claim to their insurance company for reimbursement. It is likely the house call and exam fee will not be covered by the insurance company, but make sure to check with your company. Each company sets their own fees, coverage policies and restrictions.
