Exam services
House Call $180
We come to your home to provide one of our services. All visits will require a physical exam. We can come inside your home or at a safe outdoor space for your dog. Cat exams will be performed indoors only.
House Call - additional pet $60
Add on house call for each additional pet that will be seen. This allows time for an the pet to be examined. *Can only be added to an existing House Call appointment scheduled*
Telemedicine Appointment or Consultation $60
A one on one appointment slot in 15 minute increments with the doctor to discuss any questions or concerns about your pet. Must be an established client to use Telemedicine services. A progress appointment may be ordered by the doctor as a telemedicine appointment.
Physical Exam $120
A nose to tail exam and discussion of problems discovered. Includes answering questions during the house call.
Arthritis and chronic pain
NGF Monoclonal antibody treatment $75+
Librela for canine patients and Solensia for feline patients is a new monoclonal antibody treatment for arthritis in pets. This antibody binds to nerve growth factor (NGF) which is shown to be present in arthritic joints. This modality has been used in Europe for several years with great success for pain management and is new to the USA and FDA approved.

This treatment is given under the skin (like a vaccine) every 28 days. It may take two months to notice an improvement, but most owners report an improvement in 3-4 weeks.

Myofascial massage and trigger point therapy $120/hour
Myofascial trigger points are muscle bands stuck in constant contraction and unable to relax. This causes additional strain, stress and pain in your arthritic pet. Releasing a trigger point can help with comfort in your pet.

Different modalities can release a trigger point. Dr. Teresa uses ischemic pressure and dry needling.
*must not have a clotting disorder or high anxiety for dry needling*

CBD consultation * part of exam fee*
Cannabinoids can be used in conjunction with other pain control modalities in pets. We will discussed type of CBD used in pets, dosage needed and any side effects to expect.
tPEMF $300
The Assisi Loop is FDA cleared for human use for pain management therapy. This unit has 250 uses or 15 minute sessions.
Laboratory Diagnostics
Wellness Panels $260+
Annual blood screening for healthy pets. Yearly monitoring allows the collection of healthy normal values for your pet. This allows the doctor to watch for trends for possible future diseases and to compare the abnormal results of tests against your pet's own set of normal values.

This panel includes a Chem 25, CBC, UA and T4.
Additional diagnostics can be added for a discount
Fecal Ova and Parasite with Giardia ELISA $60
Recommended for annual screening for presence of eggs and developmental stages intestinal parasites. The giardia ELISA tests for the presence of giardia antigen in the feces since the organism can be hard to spot in the fecal analysis.
Heartworm Antigen Test $55
Annual screening recommended in addition to monthly Heartworm preventative. Testing is required before starting Heartworm preventatives or if there is a break in coverage.
FeLV/FIV Test $80
Recommended for new kittens and cats in the household or a screening test for sick cats. This test screens for Feline Leukemia Virus and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus
Ear cytology, at home $60
A cotton tip applicator is used to collect a sample of cells from your pets ears to look for mites, bacteria and yeast. Used to diagnose an ear infection.
Tissue or fluid cytology, at home $90
Tissues or fluid from your pet is collected for Dr. Teresa to examine under the microscope during your exam.
Tissue or fluid cytology, at the lab $250
Tissues or fluid from your pet is collected and mailed to the laboratory for a clinical pathologist to examine the cells.
Additional laboratory services available
A full service diagnostic laboratory available for additional testing on a case by case basis. An estimate of cost will always be given before submitting samples.
Other services
Euthanasia $280-$420 (+ $180 housecall fee additional)
This service begins with a medical consultation to answer any questions you may have regarding your pet's quality of life or the euthanasia process. A heavy sedative is given by injection and then the secondary medication is given to gently stop the heart. *pricing increases with size of pet due to volume of drugs used* A house call service fee is additional and added to total invoice.
Private Cremation $420
Private cremation services are available in partnership with West Coast Pet Memorial. Happy Paws will transfer your pet and then you will receive a call to pick up your pet at West Coast Pet Memorial. A wooden urn, name engraving and clay paw print are all included.
Communal Cremation $170
Communal cremation services are available in partnership with West Coast Pet Memorial. Happy Paws will transfer your pet. You pet will be cremated with other animals and their cremains spread in the Ruby Mountains or in Silver Springs, NV. *you can purchase a paw print as a memorial*
Individual Cremation $320
Individual cremation services are available in partnership with West Coast Pet Memorial. Happy Paws will transfer your pet and then you will receive a call to pick up your pet at West Coast Pet Memorial. A wooden urn, name engraving and clay paw print are all included. You pet will be with other pets but partitioned to ensure you get only your pet's cremains.
Additional Paw Print $60
Clay paw prints are available in partnership with West Coast Pet Memorial. Happy Paws will transfer your pet. You will be contacted when their paw print is ready for pick up.
Microchip and insertion $65
A HomeAgain Microchip is placed under the skin of your pet. The microchip, insertion and registration is included. This microchip include a Temp Scan, where your pet's body temp can be read using the microchip. No need for rectal thermometers in their future.
Subcutaneous Fluids $30+
Hydration for you pet by inserting a needle under their skin and allowing electrolyte balanced isotonic fluid to accumulate.
Toe Nail Trim $35
A slow and gentle Fear Free approach to a classic toe nail trim. 15 minutes will be scheduled, $30 for each additional 15 minutes required to trim nails.
Ear flushing and cleaning $20 per ear
A medicated ear cleaner is used to flush dry or moist debris out of your pets ears. Performed by the veterinarian,
Anal Gland expression $40
Manual expression of the anal glands by the veterinarian.
